The Challenge: Entering the Government Procurement Market as a Social Enterprise

Humble Brag had a strong foundation in commercial and ethical supply but had not previously pursued opportunities in the government sector. As a start-up social enterprise, they needed support to translate their commercial success into a compelling offering tailored to the unique requirements of government buyers.

Sedo Group’s Approach: Capability Building for Government Readiness

Sedo Group partnered with Humble Brag to uplift their internal capability and support them in positioning themselves effectively for government engagement.

    Key areas of support included:

    • Government Procurement Coaching for Social Enterprises: We provided targeted coaching to build Humble Brag’s understanding of government procurement processes and expectations, ensuring they were equipped to navigate their first major government-facing opportunity.
    • Collateral Review and Strategic Messaging: Sedo reviewed and refined Humble Brag’s capability statement to align with government requirements, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and alignment with procurement standards.
    • Defining a Strong Value Proposition: We worked collaboratively to craft a UVP that articulated Humble Brag’s unique impact, quality, and operational capability in language that resonated with public sector buyers.
    • Structuring and Presenting a Competitive Offering: We advised on structuring and packaging their services in a way that highlighted their ethical credentials and operational readiness—crucial for building trust with government clients.
